Hopped on a Heli-Hike! The Heli-Hike trips operate on a different side of the glacier. As the guides say it's "true right" of the black hole (which is the dirt and rock that is in the middle of the glacier). The terrain is flatter and there are less crevasses, BUT there are more formations, compression caves, and the ice is cleaner.

| Cliff has been a glacier guide for 10 years. He knows everything about the area and is an advanced mountaineer. He also doesn't care what people think so he often says more inappropriate things than appropriate things. He's a friendly, loyal, crazy, badass teddy bear of a person and he was my guide for the hike. |
