Perks of the job!

On March 25th, my boss treated the whole reception crew to some free Ice Exploring!!!  This was my 6 month anniversary of living in New Zealand and it couldn't have been more special.  It's basically impossible for the entire reception staff to hang out together because someone is always working, so for us to all be on the ice together was a wonderful rarity.   We took a million selfies, joked about work, and got paid the entire time!   

The Franz Josef Glacier is truly a surreal place.  It's a gigantic slab of ice in the middle of the rainforest and it's only 22km away from the ocean.
