Able Tasman

AIR
I've done a lot of crazy things in NZ, but I saved the craziest for last!  I jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet over Able Tasman National Park today.   I was very nervous about skydiving (I've been having dreams about it for weeks), but once I met my tandem partner I knew it would all be fine.  He reminded me a lot of one of the guides back in Franz Josef and it was our comfortable banter that relaxed my nerves.  Once we actually jumped out of the plane there was a good amount of f-bombs, but I quickly relaxed and enjoyed the free fall.  Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!!!

Couldn't resist picking White Lines as my skydive song!  The rest was up to the editor.

This is my FAVORITE picture!  Worth every penny!!!
LAND
After my skydive, I went hiking around the national park!

Found a cave

Punny!

SEA
I went on a guided kayaking trip with my friend Marion and we had a blast!!  10km of kayaking and we saw caves, cool birds, and seals!!

Cookie transfer via paddles!

Yay cookies!

KIWI ROCK!!!  Might be the coolest thing ever.

Now I'm back in Nelson, getting ready for a big travel day tomorrow and guess which room I'm staying in...  Franz Josef is everywhere!!!   Love it!
