We finally made it to Hobbiton! The Shire is located in the middle of North Island. There are 44 hobbit holes and every single one is decorated with special details that make the place truly amazing. It used to be a sheep farm until Peter Jackson found it. The Shire is the most well known set but there are lots of different spots all over the country. We already rafted past Gollum's cave and we plan to hike up Mt.Doom later in the trip.

It is seriously weird to see you in these strange environments... boatyards, crash palace... can't wait for the next stop...
